CREATOR OF THE WEATHER
By Roland E. Williams
Which poet created the weather?
Cumulus and nimbus
So poetic like
Stratus and cirrus
He was one sweet rhymer
That poet
Larger than life stratus
Choppy sea-ed cirrus
Darkest of grays nimbus
Well-stocked cumulus
Does he see
Each year
How they rise and rise
And rise
And they accompany
All that blowing
And howling
And whistling
And wheezing
Until we are all blown away?
But, oh, what kind of poet is he?
To name the clouds so beautifully,
But put us all in jeopardy!
