By Roland E. Williams

The heavy burden you now carry is also mine

Because the love you carry within your heart is mine

The luster I know you bare will lead you on

The truth you hold in your heart is pure and strong

The love you love and the pain you feel is mine my love

Carry this, this love of mine, and that for Him above

But forget not to share with me all sufferings you bare

And this man that loves you so will also bare your share

By Roland E. Williams

A love lost is a love wasted, but at least you had that

Maybe it was just not meant to continue on

Can this not be for the best? CAN this be for the best?

A love lost, a love not yet in full bloom, must be a wasted one

A wasted love, who knows what the future holds?

If only that that love would not be gone tomorrow

If only there wasn’t the need for this to happen

Sorrow, upon sorrow has my heart felt

Sorrow, upon sorrow has burdened it

A wasted love! Hopefully we’ve learned from the past

As sure as that love was, be it only so short

The feeling you felt will not diminish,

But only find company of many more to come

But will they? You can only hope to be so fortunate

A wasted love? Maybe; but you must go on…

By Roland E. Williams

With my mouth dry, my throat hoarse

And I’ve said all known words of love

Yet my heart wishes to invent more words to say

With no tears left to shed and my soul coarse

And I’ve done all the things you do for love

My mind is embittered now you’ve gone away

With my mind, soul and body all being yours

And I’ve felt all these deep feelings of love

My soul grows more confident each time I pray
